The Completion value obtained by a server script or the API is the day after the one shown on the screen
Answer¶
This is by design. When the Editor Format of the "Completion" column is "Date", the day after the date entered on the screen is stored in the database.
Overview¶
Only when the Editor Format of the "Completion" column is "Date", the day after the date entered on the screen (at 00:00:00) is stored. Server scripts and the API return the value in the database as it is, so they return the day after the date shown on the screen. Take care when handling the "Completion" value in your own scripts. If you set the Editor Format to something other than "Date", the date and time entered on the screen is stored as it is.
