Import

Overview

This function imports group information to the "Group administration" screen from a CSV file. You can register current groups in bulk.

Preparations

  • Prepare the data to import as a CSV file in advance.
  • Shift-JIS or UTF-8 can be used for the character code of the CSV file.
  • Add a header (the name of each item) to the first record of the CSV file.

Items That Can Be Imported

The items that can be imported from a CSV file when creating or updating are as follows. Items marked with × are ignored even if they are included in the CSV file.

Item name Create new Update
Group ID × 1 × 2
Group name 〇 〇
Body 〇 〇
Comments 〇 〇 3
Disabled 4 〇 〇
Created by × ×
Updated by × ×
Updated on × ×
Member type 〇 〇
Member key 〇 〇
Member name × ×
Members are administrators 〇 〇

Procedure

  1. Click the "Import" button at the bottom of the "Group administration" screen.
  2. Click the "Choose File" button in the "CSV file" item and select the CSV file to import.
  3. Select the character code of the CSV file to import.
  4. If you check "Delete members before importing", all members of the groups that match the group IDs in the CSV file are deleted before the import is performed.
  5. Click the "Import" button.
  6. The message "Group xx added, xx updated. Group members Added xx and updated xx." is displayed at the bottom of the screen. The number of updated group members is counted when the CSV file has the "Members are administrators" column.

Limitations

  1. As with importing a normal table, a header record is required.
  2. Groups cannot be deleted.
  3. Group members cannot be deleted individually. If you check "Delete members before importing" in the procedure above and perform the import, all members of the groups that match the group IDs in the CSV file are deleted before the import is performed.
  4. If the name of an item in the table and the header of the CSV to import do not match exactly, the item is ignored.
  5. When adding multiple members to a group, set the same values for the items other than "Member type", "Member key", "Member name", and "Members are administrators".
  6. When adding multiple members to a new group, the members belong to the same group if the "Group name" is the same.
  7. When a new group is added, the user who performed the import is added as a member.

Access Restrictions with Security.json

Security.json has a function that allows access to Pleasanter on a group basis when "AllowIpAddresses" and "IpRestrictionExcludeMembers" are set together. If you use this function to allow access on a group basis, disabling a group prevents the users who belong to the group from accessing Pleasanter.

If a user with important administrative privileges, such as a tenant manager, can no longer access Pleasanter, it may be necessary to change the IP address of the device in use or to reconfigure Security.json.

If you do not restrict access by IP address with "AllowIpAddresses" in Security.json, you do not need to consider the above limitation.
