Column Advanced Settings: Auto post back

Overview¶

Turn this on if you want to automatically post back to the server after editing an item in the "Editor". By turning on "Auto post back", you can immediately reflect the results of "Formulas", "Lookup", "Server Script", etc. in the "Editor". If "Auto post back" is off, the results will be reflected on the screen after pressing the update button.

Cautions¶

1. Performance may deteriorate if there are many "Items" on the screen. You can improve this by specifying "Columns returned when automatic postback".

Limitations¶

1. Cannot be used with "Comments Item".

Prerequisites¶

1. "Site Administration Permission" is required to configure settings.
