Column Advanced Settings: Use Search Function
Overview¶
Turn this on if you want to display a dialog box to search for the desired value from the options when the "Option List" has a large list. Only up to 500 columns can be displayed in the "Option List". If you are dealing with a list of more than 500 columns, turn this setting on.
Limitations¶
- Can only be used for "Status Column", "Owner Column", "Manager Column", and "Class Column".
- If you want to filter by values from a linked table two or more levels down on the screen index, you must enable "Use Search Function".
Prerequisites¶
- "Site Administration Permission" is required to configure settings.
