Screen Index: Default View

Overview

Set the "Default View" for the "Screen Index". By using the "Default View", you can set the initial state of the "Column" to be displayed when the table is first opened after logging in, as well as the "Sort" and "Reorder" of the list.

Restrictions

  1. The default view cannot be changed for each "Department" or "User". To dynamically switch the default view, use the "DefaultViewId" of the "siteSettings object" in the "Server Script".

Prerequisites

  1. "Site Administration Permission" is required to configure settings.
  2. One or more "View" must be created.

The "Default View" option is displayed only if a view has already been set.

Operation Procedure

  1. Open the target "Table".
  2. Click "Manage Table" from the "Manage" menu.
  3. Open the "Index" tab.
  4. Select the desired setting from the "Default View" selection box at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click the "Update" button at the bottom of the screen.
