Site Access Control: Do Not Inherit on Site Creation

Overview¶

When creating a "Site" under a "Folder", the folder's access rights are inherited by default, but turn this on if you want to create it without inheriting access rights.

Prerequisites¶

1. "Site Administration Permission" and the "Manage permission" permission are required.
2. Can only be set when "Site type" is "Folder".

Operation Procedure¶

1. Open each site and click "Manage" - "XX Management" from the navigation menu.
2. Select the "Site Access Control" tab.
3. Turn on "Do not inherit permissions when creating a site".
4. Click the "Update" button in the command button area.
