Site Package Function: Site Package
Overview¶
The site package function allows you to export and import the configuration of a site used within Pleasanter for reuse in other environments or projects. By utilizing this function, you can save pre-configured folders, tables, link structures, summaries, and lookups needed for specific business applications and quickly deploy them in other projects or workflows.
With the site package function, you can export the entire site, including multiple tables and folders, as a JSON file. By importing this JSON file, you can immediately reconstruct sites or tables with the same configuration in another project.
Key Features¶
- Export the entire site configuration, including folders, tables, and link structures, for reuse in other projects.
- Export settings spanning multiple tables, such as summaries, lookups, and links, allowing the same business processes to be applied to new projects effortlessly.
- Save packages as templates and import them into other environments, making it easy to apply them to different business processes or projects.
Limitations¶
- Attachments and images cannot be imported.
- If scripts contain site IDs or record IDs, changes in these IDs may cause the scripts to malfunction. Manual updates to the IDs in the scripts are required.
- When importing site packages exported from a different Pleasanter instance, information about departments, groups, and users stored in the records will not be converted to IDs in the target instance.
Prerequisites¶
To use the site package function, you need "Site Administration Permission".
