Table Function: Record Reference Copy

Overview

Use the "Editor" to reference copy table records. When you perform a reference copy, the new creation screen will open with all the contents of the original record filled in.

Limitations

  1. "Attachments" cannot be copied.
  2. "Change History" cannot be copied.
  3. "Record Access Control" settings cannot be copied.
  4. If "Copy with Default Value" is enabled in "Column Advanced Settings", the value will not be copied and the default value will be entered.
  5. "Comment" will be copied. The comment of the original will be displayed after creation.

Prerequisites

  1. You must have "Read permission" for the record and "Create permission" for the site.
  2. "Allow Reference Copy" must be turned on for the target "Table".

Operation Procedure

  1. Go to the target table.
  2. Search for the target record from the "List Screen".
  3. Click the target record.
  4. The "Editor" will be displayed, so click the "Reference Copy" button.
  5. The new creation screen will open with all the contents of the original record filled in.
