## Overview Searches all records in Pleasanter for the specified keyword. Cross-sectional searches are "[Full Text Search](/en/manual/faq-search)". ## Limitations 1. You cannot search for tables or records for which you do not have "read permission." 1. If "DisableCrossSearch" in "[Search.json](/en/manual/search-json)" is false, the cross-search function cannot be used. The cross-search text box will be hidden. 1. Tables that have "[Disable Cross Search](/en/manual/table-management-disable-cross-search)" checked in "[Manage Table](/en/manual/table-management)" - "[Search](/en/manual/table-management-search)" will not be searched. ## Operating Procedure 1. Enter the keyword you want to search in the cross-search text box at the top right of the screen and press Enter.  1. The search results are displayed, with the search string highlighted in yellow.  However, if there are multiple search strings (and search), they will not be highlighted.  1. Clicking on a record in the search results will take you to the edit screen for that record.
