Table Management: Editor: Item Detail Settings: Option List
## Overview
Specify the options when displaying "[Classification Item](/en/manual/table-management-class)" in a "Select Box". Options are specified with line breaks. In addition, the choice list can be set to the "[Lookup](/en/manual/table-management-lookup)" function that transfers values from a linked table, and choices can be controlled using [Filter, Sort, Display Format](/manual/table-management-choice-json).
## Limitations
1. Cannot be used with "[Status Item](/en/manual/table-management-status)", "[Person In Charge Item](/en/manual/table-management-owner)" and "[Administrator Item](/en/manual/table-management-manager)", or "[Classification Item](/en/manual/table-management-class)".
1. A number must be used for "Value to Save" in "[Status Item](/en/manual/table-management-status)".
1. Only "User List" can be used in "[Person In Charge Item](/en/manual/table-management-owner)" and "[Administrator Item](/en/manual/table-management-manager)".
1. Items with the same "Value" will not be displayed even if they are set.
## Prerequisites
1. "Site Administration Permission" is required to configure settings.
## Description Examples
#### Example 1
This is a description example that displays the simplest string options. It is only available for "[Classification Item](/en/manual/table-management-class)".
##### Text
```
```
#### Example 2
This is an example of how to distinguish between "Value to Save" and "Display on Screen". Specify "Value to Save" and "Display on Screen" in that order, separated by a comma. If you change the "Display on Screen" string while leaving the "Value to Save" string as is, you can change the "Display on Screen" without editing the record. This example cannot be used with "[Status Item](/en/manual/table-management-status)", "[Person In Charge Item](/en/manual/table-management-owner)" and "[Administrator Item](/en/manual/table-management-manager)".
##### Text
```
AC7459, Product A
UW9336, Product B
PX1223, Product C
```
#### Example 3
In addition to Example 2, this is an example of how to specify "Short Display Name on Screen" and "Style Sheet Class Name". Specify them with a comma as in Example 2. "Short Display Name on Screen" is effective for saving the display width of the "[List Screen](/en/manual/table-grid)". "Style Sheet Class Name" allows you to apply the style of the specified class name (background color, text color, etc.). **The class name must start with "status-".** The original style must be set separately in "[Style](/en/manual/table-management-style)" of "[Table Management](/en/manual/table-management)". This example cannot be used with "[Person In Charge Item](/en/manual/table-management-owner)" and "[Administrator Item](/en/manual/table-management-manager)".
##### Text
```
100,Not Started,NS,status-new
150,Preparation,Prep,status-preparation
200,In Progress,IP,status-inprogress
300,Review,Rev,status-review
900,Completed,Comp,status-closed
910,On Hold,Hold,status-rejected
```
#### Other Examples
Other choices include "[Department Option List](/en/manual/table-management-choices-text-depts)", "[Group Option List](/en/manual/table-management-choices-text-groups)", "[User's Option List](/en/manual/table-management-choices-text-users)", and "[Link](/en/manual/table-management-choices-text-link)". You can also use [Filter, Sort, Display Format](/manual/table-management-choice-json). For more information, please refer to Related Information.
